Thanks for the comments on the LUG about the 90,, f:1.

I had 3 of these lenses a few years ago, and purchased them from Picker
X-Ray Corp., who told me that they were developed for use on Osciliscopes.
and used in the  X-ray field.

I'll be interested in the results that it brings.
