Hi LUGnuts.

Many thanks to all of you who commented so helpfully on metering
workarounds and my peculiar lens flange problem.

This sort of assistance is what really makes the LUG such a great group.
I'm pretty sure not even Leitz could have come up with the comprehensive
answers that you guys did. Certainly it's not in any of the books I have.

BTW, I'm expecting a 3-cam 135/2.8 R to arrive from the US in a week or so.
It'll be interesting to see whether that fits the SLs.

I'm in your debt to the extent of several pints of Murphy's - payable in
Ireland if you're ever over, or possibly in Boston and Vancouver next July.
