I truly understand exactly how you feel. If you recall, I had exactly the same problem about a year ago and got rid of my R8, winder and three lenses. About three months ago I purchased another one and I have not regretted it since. I feel so much more comfortable using the R8 than my M6. In fact I have given serious consideration to selling M6-HM and lenses. Harrison, please pardon me for sticking my nose into your business. I made an irrational decision a year ago and it ended up costing me much more to correct the problem. My intent was good in this memo, hopefully the execution has not offended you. It is a later production model and is in the same condition as if you were to buy a demo camera from any delear listing them as demo gear. I have not used this body at all. It came from Leica NJ to me today FED-EX, I opened the box to look at the body, packaged it back up. It comes with all paperwork, strap and body cap and batteries.
