From train station, turn left, and walk for about 300 metres. There are a lot of restaurants. Try some of the sea food dishs. Don't cross the bridge into San Marco. It is more expensive as you get closer to the main square. Take the water taxi, they are cheap. You can buy ticket at the ticket booths. You can also buy daily or single trip tickets. There is a good internet site about Venice. Use Alta vista to search for it. There are no cars allowed within the city so the only transports are your feet, water bus, taxi, and of course the gondola. Regards, Tuong
