Ting,
I am in the process of packing and shipping a V35 to Yann in Switzerland,
and if the original packing is not available it is certainly a task to find
a suitable box in which to ship this.

It needs to be at least 22" x 28" x 12", this requires the column to be
disconnected from the baseboard and then laid flat after rotating the column
to its (transformer) base.
With it being a diffuser, rather than condenser, enlarger there is less
glass to break. The delicate items are dichroic filters in the colour and
vario-contrrast modules, lens, bulb, neg carrier (if a glass variety) and to
a lesser degree the focusing cam, this requires wrapping to avoid damage.

Obviously the rest of the arrangement then wants lots of packing and padding
but I do wish original boxes were saved by customers!

Costs varied between 100 and 200 GBP (FedeX most expensive) for my European
trip, perhaps more for a trip to the USA?
