The Leica Manual (14th ed.) specifies intermediate speeds between 1 to 1/5 sec.
and 1/50 to 1/1000 may also be set. The M2 instruction booklet allows
intermediate speeds 1 to 1/8 sec, 1/15 to 1/30 sec, 1/60 to 1/1000 sec.
