Marc:

I checked with the Pentax dealer. They have the top line Pentax binoculars
and they seem reasonably priced. For example the birders choice 8x42 DCF
WP is $658 CAD or about $440 USD. They also carry a more expensive marine
binocular by Pentax model PCF at about $900 CAD. The dealer says they are
not as good as the Fujinons in low light and the Fujinons are cheaper. He
also said the Fujinons were better in low light than the best Zeiss, but
the Zeiss is better in bright light than the Fujinon.

If you want to buy a set of the Pentax binoculars, the store name is Reid
Sweet and you can speak to Bruce at (902) 423-8381. They also carry the
Zeiss binoculars which are about $1,300 CAD or about $866 USD.
