Was there one click stop between f/2.8 and f/4 or only one?  My old M lenses 
did not have click stops between numbers but my new 35 mm Summicron ASPH. 
Does have the half stop clicks.  Does you 50 mm have two clicks between 
numbers?

I agree that there are few inanimate objects, if any, that feel better to the 
touch than a Leica M series camera.
