There ARE a number of us on the list who are firm advocates of the Viso system: I can use my Leica's, whether TM or M, from 20mm to 1400mm focal-length lenses, and appreciate this flexibility. Leica published two different charts, one for the Viso II and the other for the III, which explain which adapters are necessary for use with which lens. (HINT: Buy Erwin's CD-ROM, as these charts are included, I believe.) Simply, you need a lens which has a removeable head or which was intended for Viso use, if you wish to reach infinity focus. You need the appropriate adapter. You need the appropriate adapter plate to the Bellows. You need the appropriate Bellows (I for a PLOOT or Viso I, II for a Viso II, IIa, or III). You need a special cable release if you are using a Viso I or PLOOT. The nicest part of all of this is that I can now use my M6 for macro work with lenses from 24mm to 90mm, a nice range for documenting the quirks of cameras!
