Good Evening,

You may want to try and find an ELITE 751
by Hitachi but they are, people say, quite rare,
and do offer "professional" grade performance.

The other one you should check out before a final purchase
decision is the newer SONY 17" high range model,
which probably is the value / performance reference,
as the previous version.

PLUS: make sure your graphics card justifies
the monitor you go for. A responsible computer shop
probably makes a lot of sense to shop at, as with
most other high quality products, for experience
based advice. I'm not up to date on the latest
products of the last 6 months.
Number Nine 'Revolution' is a good "established" one.
Matrox also is a very good brand you can trust.

You may want to make the most of the opportunity
to add Digital TV capability to your computer system
as you'll never again be satisfied with consumer style TVs,
not so expensive a proposition...
