Agreed, but even if you build the best camera/lens in the world, and sales
are poor, eventually the company loses money, then people leave, and things
completely deteriorate.

I notice that the word "quality" was left out of the attributes needed for 
Leica to survive.  Quality is precisely why Leica has sold over the years
and 
if the "bean counters" continue down the road of "file and shim rather than 
precision manufacture" as one top Leica repair shop stated recently who is 
going to buy Leica at precision prices?

It is hoped the "furniture salesman" can return precision manufacturing to 
Leica.
