Subject: [Leica] Gang of Two M2:s

This morning it seems like my M2:s took an extra trip to Cologne, Germany,
before accepting to come home to their worried owner. If the tracking
computers are correct this time, they will be here in a few hours, DHL says
Damnded, I need them, as I will be on a plane to Italy within 24 hours!

When I look out my window, I see grey skies, rain, some snow and +2C. Never
mind that, according to CNN Rome will have +30C, and will give me a warm
welcome!

When I have landed, I will go directly to Luigi Crescenzi for lunch. Luigi
owns a Leica shop called "Leicatime" in Rome. He has an extensive collection
of Leica cameras in his shop, and I will enjoy to take a look at them.
Then I will go on in my rented Fiat Punto a few miles to the Bolsena Lake,
where I will stop in a small town, called Marta. I will step right into the
central bar, say Chao, and collect the key to a flat owned by one of my
Italian friends. Then I will just sit down outside the bar, relax, and order
a large cold beer!

The next day, I will wake up early in the morning to the sound of
tambourins, because this is the day of Barabata, a large festival. This is a
celebration of virgin Maria, a tradition since more than a 1000 years. This
day the whole town will upside down, celebrating.
My cameras will see a lot of action, that is for sure. I will (hopefully)
bring 3 M:s with 21-35-50-90 mm lenses, and lots of Tri-X and Fuji color
film.

After this, I will just take it easy, spending the rest of the time in Rome,
strolling around on the streets, playing HCB with one M and 50 mm.

Please be nice to each other!

Hans
