We visited Fiji last August. By all means visit the native villages on the 
outer islands. The Fiji people are very hospitable. In my opinion, they are 
the best photo subject there. I think what Ansel Adams said about Hawaii 
applies to Fiji. It is not photograpically intersting (above water). If you 
dive and are into under water photography it is world class. There was not 
much wild life.

We had a wonderful stay at the Qamea Beach Club on Qamea Island. It is short 
boat ride from Taveuni. It is essentially 12 huts on a private island. The 
food was excellent. The diving was very good. I would go back.
