Fellow Luggers:

I'll be leaving for Fiji next week for a two weeks vacation/photo trip.
I was wondering if any of you who has been to Fiji islands could share
your experience in terms of places to stay, eat, and see (photography)
there. This will be my first time experience to the south Pacific so
your suggestions and recommendations will be greatly appreciated.

Back to the topic with Leica, I love macro photography and I'm looking
forward to visit Taveuni (the Garden isle) to enjoy the exotic tropical
plants. Due to its convenience with macro photography, I'll be taking
R7 with the following lenses: 60mm macro, 35mm Elmarit, 90mm Elmarit,
and 180 Apo-Telyt. My M3/50-Summicron with TMAXs will be used mainly
for subjects such as culture and people while touring the villages.

I'm also a 4x5 shooter so I will be taking my Linhof MT with a set of
LF lenses. The film of choice for both the 4x5 and R will be Velvia and
E100VS if condition requires it. Now I need to go back and think about
how to lighten the load of my backpack:-(
