Subject: [Leica] Focotars Again

A day or two back, Tom Abrahamson commented that he found the 4.5/50
Focotar-II superior to the 2.8/40 WA-Focotar.  While I have found the
Focotar-II to be a phenomenal lens, I have also found the 2.8/40 WA-Focotar
to be its superior AND a considerably faster lens.

The WA-Focotar is, simply, the finest 35mm enlarging lens I have ever used.
