I'm into this and I get a kitchen scale out:
These weights are meaningful to me:
Hasselblad 500 c/m with folding finder and 80mm 2.8 and back:	1510g or	3 lbs	6 oz.
Rolleiflex 2.8 F 1250g or	2 lbs	13 oz.
Leica M6 with 135 APO 1025g or	2 lbs	6 oz.
Nikon FE2 with MD12 & 85 F2 1425g or	3 lbs	4 oz.
The Calico, German Shepherd, or Photographer would not fit on the scale or were unwilling.
