I'm going back down to the dealer this week to take another look at the Enfield 'deluxe' in black, 500cc. I'm a tinkerer and this bike seems perfect for that! I kicked it over with no problem when I took my test ride. I've had bikes with compression-release and higher compression ratios, and this one is a comparable breeze to start. Vibrates like a madman, and it missed a few times when cold (and with one cylinder you could tell!) but what a blast to drive. Got it out on the highway and turned some heads with it! ha!
