If you recall; the gist of Bill Rosauers conversation with Leica's new CEO 
revealed that there are new surprises in store in the wide angle 
department.
Canon have this 24/1.4 lens don't they? I had thought that might be a 
target to reproduce, or better! But the 35 Noctilux sounds like a humdinger 
of a lens!
I've no idea whether it's feasible, it would be hard to make the rear 
element of an old style 35/1.4 any bigger in the mount, but maybe it's only 
the front that needs enlarging?
Here, very obviously, is a lens design novice speaking!
