The ten-year-old 2.8/28mm makes it the 3rd version. Current one is 4th
version. I have this 3rd version lens and it's a very decent performer. The
current version is better though. Erwin Puts has done some 28mm lens tests

Regarding single malt whisky, Glenrothes is my favourite.
