Thanks for your Focotar information; it seems to parallel my experiences
pretty closely. I'm also interested in information on the newer lenses, as
I have some medium and large format enlarging lenses that I haven't really
compared to anything else for 25 years either. Erwin's analysis might give
me a hint of the development of enlarger lenses in the last years. It's
hard to get trustworthy information in this field. Years ago Ctein did some
tests on a variety of mostly 50mm lenses, I think, but that was about the
last in-depth analysis I've seen.
