Oh don't get in a froth. I'm not knocking America's many competent 
micro-breweries, I was simply acknowledging the fact that traditional 
American beers -- Budweiser, Miller, etc. --  don't have the character, 
flavor or "body" that European beers have. And as I said before, I actually 
prefer the traditional American style beers. A nice cold Bud goes down pretty 
good after mowing the lawn -- in a way that a cherry, apple cinnamon cider 
beer from the local micro brewery or that sludge that some Europeans call 
beer ever could. I know that's heresy but what can I say, I was raised on 
Stag. I'm a working class American kind of guy.
