Hi Gang,
So, you want to post a picture on the LUG, but you
don't want to take up the extra band width an image
requires plus, you want the 500 or so people that
subscribe to the LUG digest to see the image also
(photos do not appear on the digest form of the LUG).
Well, I have the answer to your problem. There is a
new web site called Honesty.com (well they had to call
it something). This site will store your images for
you "Free" so you can download them to an auction, the
LUG or where ever as needed.
All you do is go to the site and up load your image.
Then go to 'manage images' and high-lite the URL
address with your cursor. Now press the CTRL - C keys
on your keyboard to store this URL in memory.
Next write your post to the LUG or news group. Then
when you want to add the URL for the image just press
the CTRL - V keys and the URL appears as ad "hot link"
in your post.

This is quite a slick system they have set up, it is
very easy to use, and you can't beat the price.
