Subject: [Leica] Larry Burrows Leica in Laos

An interesting article in Vanity Fair about Richard Pyle and Horst Faas
joining in tracking down of the helicopter crash site which claimed the life
of the four Vietnam photographers Larry Burrows, Henry Huet, Kent Potter and
Keisaburo Shimamoto.

Interestingly, photos of the four of them at the time show up at least three
Leicas. The crash site crew also find the remains of what was probably
Burrows Leica at the crash site - its serial number shows it being bought in
London.

Horst Faas now appears to be carrying a G1 or G2, along with what looks like
a Canon EOS.

If you have the book Requiem, this is an interesting additional read -Faas
was co-editor.
