Dan,

I own and use a 75/1.4. It is my favorite M lens. Two things you should
know. When focused close, to the stop, 1.) it has the narrowest DOF band of
any M lens (narrower than the f/1.0 Noct.) and 2.) at its closest focus
stop, it provides the largest image size on the film of any M lens.
