I think the Mercedes analogy is very apt in Leica's case.  In fact, I had 
this same discussion with Herr Cohn during dinner at the LHSA annual meeting 
in Chicago.  I compared the previous S class Benz to the R8.  Too big, too 
expensive and not selling well.  The logic of this comparison was not lost on 
Herr Cohn.
