There's a harsher sound with the Hexar. The brochure goes to pains (with waveforms) to illustrate the fact that the film drive is quieter than the shutter release so it's quiet, but the extension of the sound (ie, the longevity of the sound) makes it more noticeable, unlike a Leica which can be silent when being advanced. Jem - -----Original Message----- From: Mark Rutledge [SMTP:markrut@ticnet.com] Has anyone heard anything about the "noise" level of the Hexar RF? I saw in the French PHOTO that it was quiet, but is it as unobtrusive as a Leica, which IMO is one of the great reasons for getting an M ( it sounds broken compared to an SLR.) Just rambling, Mark Rutledge
