Some pros use Nikon FM10s when they need a light weight body and I have
never heard of any problems related to the alignment between the lens mount
and film plane.  BTW at the same F stop a wide angle lense needs *more* not
less presision in this restpect. The depth of focus ('depth of field' inside
the camera) is proportional to the F stop times the focal length. This does
not hold for retro focus WA  or telephoto long lenses.
