Kirt - In my opinion the black finish, as nice as it looks, is definitely an
inferior finish. It only took a few months for me to notice wear marks where
my leather strap guards were rubbing on the camera body.

On the other hand, I'd rather have a black body that shows wear than a
chrome body that reflects enough light - and can draw enough attention - to
stop traffic.

But that's just a personal opinion.
