Ted,

While I will not question your experience in this, flying in a Hercules C130
is a bit smoother than a helicopter.  If you are taking picture of the
inside of the helicopter than maybe they would be sharp, but if you are
attempting to shoot the still landscape below you may experience blur,
unless you are shooting at some very fast shutter speed.  
Some photogs use a Ken-Lab Gyro to counter the vibration in a helicopter,
other companies build it into their lenses.

Consider this before anyone rights it off as a useless question.

Yes! However, Camera on tripod, everything is vibrating at same rythum,
therefore everything is sharp!  Think about that first.

Then tell me it wont work.  Careful now if you haven't tried it!. :)
