its not news (just news from mai 1999) but i like to inform LUG-friends:
the french newspaper "liberation" voted the leica M-rangefinder-camera as
one of the "objets de siecle" (objects of the century) - beside the
citroen DS, the electric guitar, the plastic-bag and the nuclear-bomb... ;

its on the site http://libe.fr/objets2000/leica1.html - look at it, its
fun to surf...
