Subject: Re: [Leica] Can of worms?

When I did daily news photography I got tired of people constantly
coming up to me and saying "Oh I see you're using Canon, is that the
best?" Or what camera do you recommend, etc. The last thing I wanted to
do was advertise or endorse any particular camera line. Especially since
they weren't compensating me. :-) So I taped it: Black Dymo labelmaker
tape, in fact.

But, as has been said here many times, it's not the camera, it's the
person behind the camera. Hopefully, if that person has the skill,
sensitivity, talent, vision and desire, then a camera with the qualities
of a Leica will help communicate those values to their fullest.

And I still use Dymo labelmaker tape on my M6. Definitely a can of
worms! :-)
