The dealer offered to swap me for another instead of having to wait, so I did. - - My question is: The M6 I now have is circa 1985, the one that had the meter problem was from1992...how different are they? I know the M2,3,4,5 vs M6 argument is slowly fading, and not wishing to start another, I will say I liked them both! I only had the '92 model in my hands for a few days, and I got the '85 today, so all I have are prelim observations. The '85 feels different, smoother wind (maybe more wear?) and the shutter seems to have a different sound at fast and slow speeds(wear?). I did read Stephen Gandy's site comparing the earlier vs. later M6's (thanks for the info!), and most of the differences seem to be cosmetic and not internal between my two vintages. Any info/thoughts on this? Thanks, Mark Rutledge markrut@ticnet.com
