Subject: [Leica] Re: The "Real Voigtlander" 50mm Ultron

Recently I got a 1956 Voigtlander Vitessa L 35mm folding camera at a
swap. After cla and rangefinder adjustment I have been putting it
through some tests on real-world subjects using TMX/XTOL.

Does anyone have any experience with the Voigtlander 50mm /2.0 Ultron
lens? It seems excellent and certainly reminds me of some Leitz
lenses of the 1950s

I had one of these cameras many years ago and recall that there was a
writeup about the 50mm Ultron lens in a Focal books publication about
lenses and lens design. Does anyone have that book? I would like to
know more about the lens.

Thanks, Bill Lawlor
