They are looking for a graduate engineer with several years' experience (automotive industry supplier preferred), good English; SAP R/3 knowledge an advantage. Tasks: purchase of optical components, packing material, accessories and resale items; selection of suppliers, cost reduction measurements etc etc. Communication skills, analytical thinking and all the other usual stuff required. The advert also mentioned the modern organization, cooperative management style and a common set of rules on how to work together(?!). After so much about lay offs, maybe this will let you start a new round of interpretative work. My apologies to Mike Johnston if portions of the above is difficult for him to understand. After all, not everyone is a native English writer and I have got the flu. On the other hand everybody is a foreigner almost everywhere, and not everyone speaks Turkish as well as my greengrocer, or German as well as my fishmonger. Internet for everybody! Cheers! Chris.
