If, Wilber, this is supposed to suggest that the F3 is grossly overweight,
then my wife's kitchen scale begs to differ:

Nikon F3 HP with body cap and strap-     1lb. 14 oz.

Leica M2 with cap and strap-                    1lb. 8oz.

For an SLR the F3 is surprisingly light, and by the standards of the Eos 1 a
revelation.
