But that, to me, is precisely the point. I've used Kodachrome for nearly 40 years as my father, who also used a Leica, did before me. He is nearly 90 years old and has left me with moments in time from his and my mother's life and from my own childhood that still shine forth beautifully from old Kodachrome slides. I would like to be able to do the same for my own children. I do want to have nice smashing images today but I also want to be able to look at them 50 years from today (very unlikely at my age) and see the same true image that prompted me to take the photograph in the first place.
