The really sad thing is that the very best of the autofocus cameras from 
Canon and Nikon have such dim and murky finders compared to the R8 that you 
really make trouble for yourself by manually focusing them.

I encourage anyone to put a long f4 or lower lens on an F100, and then do 
the same with the R8.  You will swear someone turned the lights up when you 
put the R8 to your eye...
