That is a good point and why I finally chose the 2.8 Elmarit for my M5. I 
also have the F4, 135 in case I need it. The longer lenses are so wonderful 
to use on the R cameras that I only have them for the M when I am traveling 
and might need a longer lens. But then again, I do not do photos in noise 
sensitive areas.
