Hi Jim,

Thank you, as I was beginning to think I'd lost it because I tried to write
too long a piece saying what common sense and experience dictated I should
say.

I've never been called an elitist in my life, let alone in relation to
photography. I've always believed that if you tell people their photography
is something it's not, you're not doing them any favours, you are lying to
them.

By the same token, if you say there is something wrong, you damn well
better have the gumption to explain to them how it could be better and do
so in a manner that isn't hurtful, as no one learns if they get pissed off
because you only tell them it's crap.

The really good thing out of all of this? I've had a few posts of support
and they've made my day more than you know. As I sure became dog assed tail
down this morning thinking I had really written it wrong. I mean, I really
don't like hurting other peoples feelings, it's not my style.

I know I don't have the writing skills of some LUG members who are better
educated, but I try damn hard to put the words down in a manner like I'd
speak. I know it doesn't always come out like that, but I figure I don't do
too bad for a 3rd year high school drop out, (54 years ago) who always
wanted to be out in the world, "doing things" instead of taking all those
lessons throughout my schooling years.

Thanks again Jim for the support.
