Supposed you print your own (you wouldn't let others do THAT for you,
wouldn't you?) I see the following:

1) If you are not planning to dev. it yourself like your standard b/w, you
have to relie on a lab. Makes sense only when relying on a professional one
(got some T400CN negs ruined by a one-hour lab). Still your negs may be
less consistent than with your preferred b/w film.

2)tones are different from usual b/w, same for the grain. Prints on graded
RC or FB paper will look fine (according to your experience), almost
grainless. It is relatively easy to get good results with Kodak T400CN at IE 400.

3)longevity of the negs is questionable. Storage?

4) I prefer the grain and tones generated with conventional b/w film,
namely those with the highest possible silver content (e.g.EFKE 100). It is only
35mm after all. Kodak T400CN is very sharp and has a great latitude but I
find silver grain/crystalls to handle subtle tonal differences much better.
Got the impression Kodak T400CN is best for scanning.
