Pentax made two adapters for M42->LTM and back. The thin one, which you
want, is the 'A' adapter. The other is of course the thicker 'B' adapter.
Other companies such as Kilfitt also made them. By now they have largely
settled to the bottom of most junk drawers and boxes. I have a couple of
each and find them invaluable in cobbling up macro setups for any
magnification, along with enlarging lenses and old 8mm movie lenses
(reversed) and a number of Canon LTM extension tubes up to 200mm in length.
