There is another reason for the 1.0, or any of the low f-stop lenses, and 
that is limited depth of field.  It makes for amazing shots when nothing is 
in focus but the subject you are focused on.  You can't get the 'flat' 
depth of field with a 2 or a 2.8 that you can with a 1 or 1.4.

Depends on your needs: all around low light lens? 35 Summilux ASPH. Lens 
for
shooting in available darkness when nothing else will get the shot?
Noctilux. You buy the 35 S ASPH to use for many purposes; you buy the Noct.
for a single purpose.
