The Leica Mini series were rebadged Japanese point&shoots with a Leica
lens; is this still the case with the new Leica C1? In his speech to
the LHSA AGM Cohen said that "we decided to commission a German
designer to design the camera. In his work, Professor Achim Heine
aimed to continue the tradition of German engineering achievements."
So it looks like we're talking about German design, but perhaps not ny
Solms. However, looking at the brochure, I can't see any sign of a
"made in..." marking on the camera.

Can anyone report user experience with this camera?
