I wouldn't be so sure there, Mark.  The Standard Poodle is considered by
many to be the most intelligent dog in the world, and they have been used in
Dog Sports such as Schutzhund and French Ring.  These sports include
protection and bitework, as well as obedience and tracking.  The toy and
miniatures annoy me, but the Standard Poodle is a noble and worthy canine
indeed!

I am still hoping Max was a Dober-Man... would make a great story to tell my
breed buddies.
