Subject: [Leica] lens adapters

Hi there kind folk,
As you probably know, I bought some screwmount stuff and then I ended up
buying an M4-P body. Now I have the LTM lenses (35, 50, 90) and one 35 lens
(with eyes) for M mount. I know there are adapters to use the LTM lenses on
the M body, but I do not know which ones they are and where to get them
(other than Tamarkin or Don Chatterton). I also plan on getting the 15mm
Heliar soon.

One thing I was cautioned about is the quality of the adapters. I want
something good, does not have to be Leica made, but must be better than pot
metal :-) and preferably I would not have to sell my first born to acquire
it.

Second item is hoods. I have seen lots of traffic on this issue and I am
puzzled. why do these blasted things cost so much. is there something
strange about the leica lenses (odd threads or size)? Why not use good ol'e
series lens hoods? They are a dime a half dozen :-)
