What about the smells.  I like the aroma of a 100' roll of Tri-X right out
of the bag.  And I think the sound of running water is relaxing when you're
doing darkroom work.

Hear,Hear!  My dream combination used to be my M3, 50mm or 90mm lens, and
Panatomic-X film developed in Rodinal.  I miss that film!
