I confess.

I bought a Nokton over the weekend.

We'll see.

Anyone have direct experience of both.

My confession is worse. After our get together in Pied Bull yard I decided
to buy a 75 f2.5. I bought the Nokton as well, for no really good reason. I
do not do lens tests but I am not impressed so far by the boke of this
lens. I will do a direct comparison if I get time and let you know.
I like the 50 f1.4 (second and current version). For those "anoraks" who
are interested in such things there are 3 lenses in the same design family,
the 50 f1.4 M, the 75 f1.4 M and the 80 f1.4 R.
Cheers Frank
