Print using the colour inks for B&W.  Printing with just black ink makes the
image too grainy, as the printer uses just one density of ink for all tones,
and has to space the droplets out more for light areas.  My early
indications are that the 870 with colour ink is (much?) better at b&w prints
than my 750 with MIS quadtone b&w inks.
