You wouldn't buy a barely-used '65 Mustang with original belts, hoses
and oil and expect to drive very far! And yet I encounter minty
Hasselblad 500c's and Leica IIIf's which seem to have received as much
maintenance over the years--small wonder if there are a few problems:
No, dry-firing the camera a few times a month does not count as
"maintenance"! Spend the money to properly freshen things up and chances
are, your Hasselblads will work just fine: These are very, very good
cameras and not terribly expensive to own (to purchase, yes!)
