Velvia is a wonderful film-- among the best chromes available and very, very
popular with pro shooters for a wide range of subjects. See Alan Harvey's
"Cuba" for a great recent` example of what Velvia will do. Trouble is, it's a
slow film with an ISO of 50, and many like to shoot it at 40 or even 30.
The extra stop with the (wonderful) f1.4 ASPH Lux can make all the
difference. Harvey's book, by the way, was shot almost entirely with the 35
Lux.
